Work With Us

We hire operators, not career consultants.

Albatross is a small, senior team that takes on the problems internal teams cannot move fast enough to solve. The work is hands-on, the outcomes are measured, and the people who do well here have run something real before.

Why Albatross

Real ownership, real outcomes, no slideware.

Operator work

You own engagements end to end, from the first read to change that holds. We are measured on outcomes, not decks.

Small team, senior bar

No pyramid, no bench. Everyone here carries client relationships and ships. Your judgment shows up in the work.

Across the value moments

Growth, operations, partnerships, exits, and the tools around them. You will work on the moments that decide enterprise value.

Open roles

Two seats open now.

Both roles are full-time and remote within the U.S., working directly with clients across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

Full-timeRemote (U.S.)Advisory

Supply Chain Consultant

Lead client engagements across operations and supply chain for supply chain reliant businesses. You diagnose where the leverage is, design the operating model to capture it, and stay in the work until the change is real and measured.

What you'll do

  • Run diagnostics across S&OP, procurement, network, and fulfillment to find the highest-value moves.
  • Design operating models and process architecture, then help clients actually execute them.
  • Own client relationships and outcomes on each engagement, from first read to measurable change.
  • Build the frameworks and playbooks that make our work repeatable.
  • Partner with the revenue and transaction workstreams when problems cross lanes.

What you bring

  • 7+ years in supply chain or operations leadership, or top-tier operations consulting.
  • A track record of measurable operational improvement inside real businesses, not just recommendations.
  • Fluency across S&OP, network design, procurement, and fulfillment.
  • Executive presence: you can carry a room of operators and a boardroom.
  • A bias to execution and comfort with ambiguity and small teams.
Full-timeRemote (U.S.)Custom Tools

AI Engineer

Build the custom AI and internal tools that give our clients an operating edge. You turn messy operational problems into working software: practical automation and decision tools, shipped to production, fast.

What you'll do

  • Design and ship custom AI applications and internal tools for clients and the firm.
  • Turn operational problems into working software: data pipelines, LLM features, integrations.
  • Own delivery end to end: prototype, harden, deploy, and hand off.
  • Integrate with client systems: ERP, WMS, Microsoft 365, and data warehouses.
  • Keep security and reliability first-class. This is production software for real operations.

What you bring

  • 5+ years building and shipping production software; strong in Python and/or TypeScript.
  • Hands-on applied AI: LLMs, RAG, agents, and tool use, plus cloud (Azure a plus).
  • Comfort across the stack and with ambiguous, fast-moving scope.
  • Judgment about where AI genuinely helps and where it does not.
  • A builder who ships and iterates, not just prototypes.
